regis:ctv has produced a completely new package of resources for the Skills for Care Common Induction Standards. Following the transition period and these became mandatory from the 10th June 2011.
There are now eight standards, listed below, which replace the Common Induction Standards 2005.
Standard 1 Role of the health and social care worker
Standard 2 Personal development
Standard 3 Communicate effectively
Standard 4 Equality and Inclusion
Standard 5 Principles for implementing duty of care
Standard 6 Principles of safeguarding in health and social care
Standard 7 Person centred support
Standard 8 Health and safety in an adult social care setting
Our pack which will be packaged in a white wipe-clean box, will contain:
* A trainer's manual on CD-rom, containing printable certificates
* One copy of a portfolio for members of staff to work through (Additional portfolios are available separately)
* The portfolio (previously called Learner Portfolio) will also have a CD attached, containing the GSCC code of practice, the actual Standards from Skills for Care, and a glossary
* One DVD, which will illustrate all eight standards
Skills for Care Induction Package

SFC - Learner Portfolios
These come in A4 size and contain underpinning knowledge, questions and certificate of successful completion forms for each standard.
PLEASE NOTE: Additional Learner Portfolios can only be purchased if you have already purchased the Skills for Care Induction Package.
Shipping costs will be added depending on the quantity ordered, as follows:
Up to 2 portfolios postage remains the same, six pounds
For orders of 2 - 25 portfolios the cost will be ten pounds
For orders above 25 - for example 50 the postage will be twenty pounds
For orders of 100 the postage will be forty pounds

Price: (10 to 24 items) £12.50
Price: (25 to 99 items) £12.20
Price: (100 or more items) £12.00
Due to the high and ever increasing costs of raw materials it has become necessary to increase the cost of learning portfolios with effect from 01 September 2011. Orders received before that time will be processed at the current rate.
New prices:
1 - 9 : £13.00 increased to £14.00
10 - 24: £11.50 increased to £12.50
25 - 99: £11.20 increased to £12.20
100+ : £11.00 increased to £12.00
