All training packages now come with a CD-ROM which contains the notes, and a questionnaire for completion by staff attending, which will provide vital evidence at inspection. This can now be printed direct from the CD-ROM for continual use and also contains a template certificate to issue to staff on successful completion.

 | Skills for Care (2010) Common Induction Standards Training
***Due to the high and ever increasing costs of raw materials it has become necessary to increase the cost of learning portfolios with effect from 01 September 2011. Orders received before that time will be processed at the current rate. New prices: up to 9 £14.00 (and then thereafter each one to be increased by £1). Then on the SfC pages, it needs to be put by the side of each of the price bands, that price will increase from September 01.regis:ctv has produced a completely new package of resources for the Skills for Care Common Induction Standards. Following the transition period and these became mandatory from the 10th June 2011.
There are now eight standards, listed below, which replace the previous Common Induction Standards.
Standard 1 Role of the health and social care worker
Standard 2 Personal development
Standard 3 Communicate effectively
Standard 4 Equality and Inclusion
Standard 5 Principles for implementing duty of care
Standard 6 Principles of safeguarding in health and social care
Standard 7 Person centred support
Standard 8 Health and safety in an adult social care setting
Our pack which will be packaged in a white wipe-clean box, will contain:
* A trainer's manual on CD-rom, containing printable certificates
* One copy of a portfolio for members of staff to work through (Additional portfolios are available separately)
* The portfolio (previously called Learner Portfolio) will also have a CD attached, containing the GSCC code of practice, the actual Standards from Skills for Care, and a glossary
* One DVD, which will illustrate all eight standards
